The School District of Palm Beach County is offering a free immunization van service for families with children from 2 months through 12th grade, according to district information. The service is held at the School District Welcome Center and is designed to help families meet Florida school vaccination and registration requirements ahead of enrollment deadlines.
Officials said the immunization van operates on a first-come, first-served basis, with limited capacity each day. The district encourages families to arrive early for on-site sign-in and registration.
What’s Happening
The immunization van schedule includes:
- 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.: Sign-in and on-site registration (limited space available)
- 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Immunization services provided based on availability
Families must bring a child’s current immunization records to receive services. The program is intended for students from infancy through high school seniors who still need the required vaccinations.
In addition to vaccines, families registering new students must provide several documents, including two proofs of Florida residential address, a Florida Certification of Immunization, a State of Florida School Entry Health Exam and proof of birth, such as a birth certificate or passport.
Why It Matters for Families
For many parents, school enrollment deadlines can come with paperwork and scheduling challenges. This mobile clinic model helps reduce barriers by offering both immunizations and registration support in one location.
It is especially helpful for families who may have missed routine pediatric appointments or who are new to the district and need to complete multiple entry requirements at once.
