Planning Father’s Day can feel overwhelming ー working around busy work schedules, finding the perfect restaurant or activity, making a reservation and figuring out what will keep the kids entertained.

But we’ve got you covered with a list of Jupiter restaurants and specials to choose from, creating an easygoing day, with or without the kids, that will make Dad feel appreciated.

This Father’s Day dining guide is compiled based on Yelp’s list of the best restaurants in Jupiter, along with dining research and my own personal favorites.

The Jupiter Grill 

Location: 149 Soundings Ave., Jupiter 

Father’s Day Weekend Hours: Friday and Saturday 3 – 10 p.m., Sunday 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. 

Pricing: About $39-$55 per person. 

What to Know: Enjoy a fine-dining experience at the Jupiter Grill, a steakhouse featuring signature cocktails and prime seafood and steak. 

What to Order: The menu features items like lobster bisque, salads, a raw bar, pastas like shrimp scampi, ribeye, pork chop, roasted chicken, steak frites, scallops, mahi mahi and fingerling potatoes.

Guanabas Restaurant 

Location: 960 N. Highway A1A, Jupiter

Father’s Day Weekend Hours: Friday-Saturday 11:30 a.m. – 11 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. 

Pricing: About $14-$44 per person. 

What to Know: Guanabas is a waterfront restaurant and bar featuring tropical cuisine, cocktails, a tiki bar and live music. Enjoy a drink by the water or a meal from its affordable menu, which includes salads, sandwiches, grilled proteins and fresh seafood like salmon and tequila-lime shrimp.

What to Order: The menu features items such as blackened Cajun salmon, macadamia-coconut fresh catch, fried shrimp, rice bowls, burgers and more. 

Reservations: Guanabas does not take reservations and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. 

The Parisian Restaurant & Wine Bar — The Shoppes at Jupiter

Location: 201 US-1 Suite D9, Jupiter

Father’s Day Weekend Hours: Friday-Saturday 5 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Pricing: About $14-$56 per person. 

What to Know: This upscale Parisian restaurant offers a comfortable, romantic setting with French cuisine, craft cocktails, a wine list and top-notch service, making it perfect for a memorable dining experience pre-Father’s Day. 

What to Order: The menu features items such as mussels, branzino, skirt steak, steak tartare, duck, chicken breast, salads and more.

Tavolena Sandwich & Bakery 

Location: 185 E. Indiantown Road #125, Jupiter

Father’s Day Weekend Hours: Friday-Saturday 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Pricing: Sandwiches, salads and quiches are about $12- $20. 

What to Know: Busy schedule with work or finding a babysitter for the kids? Sometimes, all that matters on Father’s Day is the effort and quality time you spend together, whenever and whatever that means for you and your family. If you have free time during or after lunch, grab a coffee, sweet treat or baked good at Tavolena Bakery. 

What to Order: The menu features homemade breads, an array of mouth-watering sandwiches, salads, quiches, and more. Its bakery section includes gelato, cookies, and pastries such as cannolis, croissants, tiramisu and limoncello tarts.

Topside at the Beacon 

Location: 1107 Love St., Jupiter

Father’s Day Weekend Hours: Friday 4 p.m. – midnight, Saturday noon – 10 p.m. and Sunday noon – 9 p.m. 

Pricing: About $15-$30 per person. 

What to Know: This tiki bar and restaurant offers an affordable menu with small plates, bites, cocktails and wine, with a view of Jupiter’s beautiful waterfront. The Beacon also offers a Sunday brunch menu. 

What to Order: The menu features items such as a smash burger, lobster roll, salads, oysters and ceviche.

Maple Street Biscuit Company

Location: 11925 Southern Blvd Suite 5, Royal Palm Beach 

Father’s Day Weekend Hours: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. 

Pricing: About $7-$13 per person. 

What to Know:  For dads who love a good breakfast, this is for you. Maple Street offers incredibly affordable and delicious biscuits, chicken and breakfast items that are sure to make your mouth water. Eat inside or outdoors, or opt for take-out for an at-home breakfast or brunch. Service is incredibly fast, and you order at the register upon arrival. 

What to Order: Menu items include chicken and waffles, biscuit-and-chicken sandwiches, eggs, bacon and cinnamon biscuits. My personal favorite is the chicken biscuit sandwich with bacon and extra maple syrup. The menu also includes coffee, tea and lattes. 

Miller’s Ale House 

Location: 126 Center St, Jupiter 

Father’s Day Weekend Hours: Friday-Saturday 11 a.m. – 2 a.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. – 1 a.m. 

Pricing: About $13-$25 per person. 

What to Know: Miller’s Ale House is for the dads who prefer relaxed sports bars. Miller’s offers a great selection of grilled menu items, beer and entertainment on multiple televisions, as well as a kids’ menu. 

What to Order: Menu items include wings, grilled chicken, shrimp, steaks, pork, barbecue, pastas like lobster ravioli, burgers, sandwiches and more. 

Reservations: Miller’s typically doesn’t take reservations, but you can call ahead at (561) 746-6720 for larger groups. 

Dive Bar Restaurant 

Location: 318 South US-1, Jupiter 

Father’s Day Weekend Hours:  Friday-Sunday 11 a.m. – 1 a.m. 

Pricing: About $14-$58 per person. 

What to Know: Dive Bar features a raw bar, sushi, sashimi, cocktails, dinner and lunch entrees, waterfront views and fresh seafood. The bar surrounds a large saltwater aquarium, and wide screens display underwater videos. 

What to Order: Menu items include salads, oysters, clams, burgers, sandwiches, grouper, crab cakes, filet mignon, a Philly cheesesteak sandwich, salmon and more.   

Reservations: Dive Bar Restaurant does not accept reservations.   

Old Florida Bar & Grill 

Location: 250 W. Indiantown Rd #101, Jupiter 

Father’s Day Weekend Hours:  Friday-Saturday 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. 

Pricing: About $13-$24 per person. 

What to Know: The Old Florida Bar & Grill offers casual, affordable dining with fresh ingredients and seafood, sandwiches, hand-cut steaks, flatbreads, salads, pasta and more. The restaurant also features a happy hour Monday to Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., with a great selection of beers. 

What to Order: Menu items include a poke bowl, dolphin, maple pork chops, shrimp, salmon, snapper, a bacon cheeseburger, tuna wraps, cheesesteak, a BLT and more.
