The school board has approved the Palm Beach County 2024-2025 school calendar! School will start Monday, Aug. 12 and end Friday, May 30.
Are there any changes?
12-month employees will now get a paid day off on June 19 due to Juneteenth, the federal holiday honoring the emancipation of 250,000 enslaved people, according to the Palm Beach Post.
What are the class of ’25 graduation dates?
Class of ’25 graduation ceremonies will take place from May 9 through May 23 at the South Florida Fairgrounds, according to the Palm Beach Post.
Important dates for 2024-2025
- Teacher work days: Monday, Aug. 5 – Friday, Aug. 9
- First day of school: Monday, Aug. 12
- No school: Thursday, Oct. 3
- No school for Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples Day: Monday, Oct. 14
- Thanksgiving break: Monday, Nov. 25 – Friday, Nov. 29
- Winter break: Monday, Dec. 23 – Monday, Jan. 6
- Spring break: Monday, March 25 – Monday, March 31
- No school for Memorial Day: Monday, May 26
- Last day of school: Friday, May 30
