TurtleFest returns to Juno Beach this weekend to celebrate more than 40 years of ocean conservation and education. Join Loggerhead Marinelife Center (LMC) on Saturday, February 24, for a day filled with free, family-friendly activities.
Presented by Amazon, TurtleFest attracts more than 10,000 guests annually with interactive and educational programs. Attendees will have the opportunity to visit LMC’s sea turtle patients, shop crafts made by local artisans and vendors, and listen to live performances by local bands throughout the day. Children can participate in an array of activities like “Slide Over the Sea” and the Junior Vet Lab. Adults can savor delicious food, craft beer, and cocktails. In addition, Sailfish Brewing Company is unveiling a new Hazy IPA that gives back to LMC with each purchase.
Parking for TurtleFest is not on-site, but will be located at 700 Universe Blvd. in Juno Beach, along U.S. Highway 1. Free shuttle buses will run every 15 minutes to and from the event. The Boys & Girls Club will also be running a complimentary shuttle bus to and from the festival for residents in the Belle Glade, Pahokee, and South Bay areas
