Matza brittle

For those celebrating Passover, finding unleavened snacks to eat can be hard! Here is a recipe for Matza Brittle that will satisfy your sweet cravings during Passover.

Matza Brittle

Ingredients:

  • Matza crackers
  • 1/2 cups of margarine
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 cup of chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 ℉. Layout your matza crackers down on a baking pan lined with foil or parchment and set aside. Heat your margarine and brown sugar in a pot or the microwave until melted together, make sure to stir. This mixture will be very hot, so be careful. Pour the brown sugar and butter over your matza crackers and spread out evenly, then put the pan in the oven for about 5 minutes. After you take out the pan, sprinkle the chocolate chips over your brittle, let melt for a few seconds, and then spread out the chocolate to cover the brittle. Let your matza brittle come to room temperature, and pop it in the freezer for a few minutes before breaking it up. After you break up your brittle, it is ready to eat!
